The first edition of the so-called ECM Academy will be organized in Johannesburg, South Africa from February 19-22, 2016. Like its sister the ECM Summer School, the ECM Academy will be the bridge for African professionals to build a successful career in the Meetings Industry.
11:15- 11:45 Press Conference Room Hyderabad Convention Visitors BureauHyderbad will host the world’s largest Infectious Disease conference in 2016. The congress traditionally brings 3,000 delegates; in India, organizers are expecting over 4,500, a large number from India’s enormous pool of specialists.
12:00- 12:30 Press Conference Room Ukraine Kyiv Convention & Visitors Bureau launched in 2015 with Kyiv Meetings & Events Representation as the main operation. Not even a year old, they have already received first RFP for a big Event for 2019. That means not only a resurrection of Meetings & Incentives, but a full Ukrainian come-back to the Meetings & Events World Industry.
12:45- 13:15 Press Conference Room EventMobiEventMobi is partnering with Queen Margaret University and various industry influencers to create and share an event technology curriculum for event management programs around the world. 10:00 – 11:00 The Coliseum (Knowledge Village) Negative Brainstorming: Using The Power Of The “Pre-Mortem” To Reveal Problems Before They HappenThis interactive session is designed to get participants thinking creatively, and critically, about their events and meetings.  More importantly, it encourages them to put themselves in the place of their attendees, and to consider their point of view in all aspects of the meeting experience.  Participants are first guided through a brainstorm process centering on designing the worst possible experience across all aspects of a typical meeting or event.After creating the list of things that could go wrong, participants then go through the list to determine what could be done differently to prevent each item.
10:00- 11:00 The Think (Knowledge Village) Association Psychoanalysis – in partnership with ESAE‘Lie down’ and talk about your problems. This session is built around analysing association core topics at 5 roundtables to ask all participants to tackle the provocative questions no one has dared to tackle before. The time will be used to analyse each topic in-depth as part of a roundtable workshop and come up with a solution framework to take home. Everyone’s input to the solution formulations will be required for the benefit of all. As we discuss common and even individual problems, we will learn about creative problem solving and solution finding techniques to send everyone home with their own prescriptions.Learning Outcomes:

The game is easy to play and understand. The game is developed by Ann Hansen and Bo Krüger, two experienced meeting designers.

-recognize what signs your audience show to base your interventions on.
